A tip of the hat from (and to) Chip Merlin

I am new to blogging, so I appreciate a little recognition from more experienced bloggers.  Well-known plaintiff attorney and policyholder advocate Chip Merlin had this to say about TallyInsLaw.com:  "Cone's blog is helpful and informative on insurance law from a more political Tallahassee perspective. He selected a great name."  See what else Chip had to say at Perry Cone's Interesting Insurance Blog.

Chip has an extensive blog on insurance law issues -- Property Insurance Coverage Law Blog

Although we typically are on the opposite sides of issues and lawsuits, I have a great degree of respect for what he has accomplished in his career.  For those unfamiliar with Chip's Board Certification, extensive publications, and other accomplishments, I direct you to his bio at William F. "Chip" Merlin, Jr., Esq.  Quoting a bit of Chip's bio:

"Since 1983, Chip Merlin has served as a plaintiff's attorney with a focus on Commercial and Residential Property Insurance Claim Disputes and Bad Faith Insurance litigation. Chip is a noted national expert on Insurance Bad Faith, lecturing to national trade groups and publishing a number of papers and articles on the subject for organizations such as The American Association for Justice, The Florida Justice Association, The Florida Windstorm Conference, and Trial Magazine." . . .
"He is Board Certified in Civil Trial by the Florida Bar and AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. For four consecutive years Chip has been named by Florida Trend magazine in their "Florida Legal Elite" issue and was named twice as one of Florida's Super Lawyers.
