Key Insurance Bills Filed: 2012 Legislative Session

Florida's 2012 Legislative Session does not start until January 10, 2012, but bills are being filed and committees are meeting.  A page listing key insurance bills for the 2012 Session is now posted at TallyInsLaw.com on the Legislative tab and at the following link: 2012 Key Insurance Bills.

At this early stage, key bills are listed for the following areas:

• General applicability, including bad faith reform, acquisitions of control of insurers, captive insurance, and alien insurers.
• PIP/Auto Insurance.
• Property Insurance, including Citizens Property Insurance Corp.
• Workers Compensation, including repackaged drugs.
